According to Shoreline Sanitation, twice per week trash pickups will begin the week of June 27th, with regular pickups on Mondays and Thursdays through the remainder of the summer season. For example, beginning next week trash will be picked up on Monday 6/27 and Thursday 6/30. Trash cans should be placed curbside the evening before the pickup.
With the Independence Day holiday observance falling on Monday July 4th, the regular Monday pickup will shift to Tuesday July 5th.
Please be aware that they state that they are filming all trash pickups with a camera mounted to the truck. Trash containers should not contain grass, yard debris, or any other prohibited contents. Please ensure that the container closes completely and do not stack additional bags on top of the lid. The collection trucks will bypass containers that are overfilled or have bags stacked on top of the container.
